When you don’t know where you’re going, any road will take you there.

Get lost?  Gladly.

Once upon a time, I had my life all planned out. I knew exactly what I was doing, where I was going and how I was going to get there.  What I hadn’t planned on was that the direction I chose was that of quiet desperation.

Now I’m a writer.

I haven’t quite figured out what this blog is going to be yet.  I rather like the freedom to let this evolve.  But I start this blog by calling myself as “Writer” and I will not use this space to question myself endlessly on this point. As a writer, particularly a Canadian writer, it’s very easy to fall into the dry, self-deprecating humour trap. Enough.

Expect this blog to be updated randomly and capriciously.
